Warsaw-Chopin Airport is the most important airport in Poland and operates international flights to London, Chicago, New York, Toronto, and other major cities. It concentrates 50% of all domestic flights.

Situated in the Włochy district, approximately 10 kilometers from the city center, is Warsaw-Chopin International Airport, commonly referred to as Okęcie Airport, based on the neighborhood it's located in. Established in 1934, the airport was utilized by the Nazis during World War II.

Presently, Warsaw-Chopin airport features two terminals and serves as a major hub, handling 50% of all flights in Poland. Annually, it welcomes around 18 million passengers. Prominent airlines connecting Warsaw to various European cities include Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, and Ryanair.

The airport facilitates domestic flights to destinations like Krakow, Wroclaw, and Gdansk, along with international connections to cities such as London, Los Angeles, Paris, Amsterdam, Tokyo, and other major cities.

Trains run approximately every 15-20 minutes, and they'll take you to Warszawa Central Station Warszawa Centralna or Warszawa Sródmiescie.

Bus

Bus line 175 connects the center of Warsaw with the Chopin Airport. The bus makes several stops, so the journey takes about 40 minutes. Regular buses operate from 4:30 am to 11 pm, and they run about every 30 minutes. The price per trip is 4.40 (US$ 1.10).

The N32 night bus will take you to the airport after hours.

Cab

The official companies are iTaxi, MPT, and Ele Taxi. There's no fixed fare, so the price ranges from 45 (US$ 11.70) to 60 (US$ 15.60), depending on where your accommodation is located. The cab ride takes about 20 minutes.
